Wordpress Theme: PlainAndSimple

Again, I made another theme, a Wordpress Theme. I will be releasing a Blogger Template version of this theme a little later. This Wordpress Theme is somehow inspired from my first theme, GreyMonger Theme. This Wordpress theme is PlainAndSimple. It’s Simply Plain and Plainly Simple.

Wordpress Theme: Island Riddims

Update: I first named it Carribean Blue but changed it to Island Riddims.

Full Version Artisteer 2.3 Lovin’

Just recently got a hold of a Full Version Artisteer 2.3. If you ask me how, I may have bought an Artisteer 2.3 Full Version for myself or I may found a crack of Artisteer 2.3. *winks!*

Anyhow, I am starting to love this. It saves me time to code Blogger and Wordpress Themes. Now, I can just click this and click that and edit a few and voila! I can’t really say that my themes are that good using Artisteer since I am just starting to “feel” Artisteer. At least now, I have made an original theme for my Lebron James’ site.

Constant correct practice makes perfect! More themes and templates to come.

Wordpress Themes

Since this blog is now a year old, I am thinking of giving this baby a new look for the year 2009 if I can find any Wordpress theme that may surpass the beauty of the current theme that I am using. As I was looking for new free Wordpress themes for the planned revamped of the site, I found some good-looking themes that my just do it. One of it is the DawnBreak Wordpress theme. I may try to test out this theme by next week to see if it is indeed what I am looking for. The other two themes that really caught my eye are the Twilight Theme and the RoundBox Theme. All 3 are very neat-looking with less clutter and images to load. Right now, I’m leaning more on using the Twilight Theme. Just a couple of tweaks with it, specially changing the color, I might achieve the look I want for this blog, but then again, these are just plans because I may just stick with this old theme for another year.

Next stop, I’ll be looking for Joomla Templates too as I am planning to dig more on Joomla. I’ll be waiting for new Joomla Templates from the same site as they have featured really neat Wordpress themes in their site.

Friendster Blog 2.0 powered by Wordpress

I was just checking on my mail when I hovered through a mail in my Spam stating that Friendster blogs are now powered by a new platform, so I had to check it out, and at first glance, my blog really looks like a WordPress blog with the defaul theme on it. Anybody who has friendster blogs? Can you justify that the blog platform is indeed Wordpress?

Friendster blogs were powered by Typepad before. The platform was just too lame, I had to let my dog do the “friendster blogging” for me. Honestly, I should say that Typepad sucks big time! You don’t have to agree with me or anything but I just simply hate the platform. So now that friendster has switched to Worpress, it’s a good news for us who has come to love Wordpress but I will not be reviving my old blog. That blog will be good as trash for now.

The main problem now is with the Friendster Bloggers who has come to love Typepad and its lameness. If any of you have any problem with the new Wordpress Friendster platform, you can alwaays drop a line here, I will be glad to help you with any problems.

This is by far the best move of Friendster so far! Powering Friendster Blog 2.0 with Wordpress.

GreyMonger theme

I have been busy for the past 5 days as I am building a new Wordpress theme from scratch. It was supposed to be finished 2 days ago but a very unfortunate event happened, I overwritten my stylesheet.css without a backup. So I had to rebuild everything all over from scratch.

I will be posting the link once I finalize the design and test everything before uploading to wordpress. Hope everything will go smoothly as planned [and I hope I will not be able to overwrite my existing stylesheet.. LOL].

Stay tuned amigos! I’m going to name it the GreyMonger!

UPDATE:

I have finalized and submitted the wordpress theme I have created and I am just waiting for the confirmation if it was approved.
